GSE Maintenance Manager

• Oversees the day-to-day activities of the GSE Maintenance Department.• Oversees the work of the maintenance team to ensure preventative and unscheduled maintenance are planned and executed most efficiently and cost-effectively.• Directs the implementation and maintenance of the Ground Support Equipment Maintenance System.• Directs the development and updating of all engineering, operational, and technical specifications to all ground services equipment to ensure adherence to the company's regulations and industry standards. • Ensures the operational deployment of NPCO equipment as per required engineering specifications and all regulatory and industry standards to ensure meeting customers’ needs and operational targets.• Manages the effective achievement of departmental objectives through the leadership of the Maintenance Department – setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback, and appraisal – to maximize subordinate and departmental performance.• Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.• Manages the development and updating of all engineering, operational, and technical specifications to all ground services equipment to ensure adherence to the company's regulations and industry standards.• Ensures the operational deployment of all equipment as per required engineering specifications and all regulatory and industry standards to ensure meeting customers’ needs and operational targets.• Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.• Supervises the pre-delivery checkup of all equipment to ensure and assess compliance with requested specifications, to identify any potential discrepancy from standards.• Follows up on the delivery of equipment to business units and ensures that users are kept fully informed of any possible delays which may affect the delivery of their material/equipment.• Manages the day-to-day operations of GSE Maintenance to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures.• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
