- Study design briefs and determine requirements - Build distributed, high-throughput, real-time data pipelines - Use Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch and other open-source components - Own meaningful parts of our service, have an impact, grow with the company - Develop IOT device software including monitoring, execution and self-healing processes - Build services that communicate with our server-side technologies - Developing MEAN stack solutions - Design and develop tools to optimize support QA, deployment and solve issues with remote deployments - Work closely with clients to understand their business, functional, technical, and implementation - requirements- Plan and monitor the IoT project deliverables assigned to the team - Prepare technical solution and architecture Required experiences:- Have significant experience (10+ years) in engineering scalable, multi-tenant environments - Built and worked on complex distributed systems - Professional experience with REST API design & development in a CI/CD environment - Experience with IoT devices integration a must - Experience with Linux system as administrator - Experience a diverse array of infrastructure system: Redis, PostgreSQL, Kafka - Previous experience in either Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible - A deep understanding of design patterns - Experience working on small, fast-moving, high capability teams - Experience designing and leading important systems software projects, using modern languages and technologies- Experience with creating and maintaining backend services - Experience with queuing, concurrency, caching, persistence, performance - Experience developing highly available HTTP and GRPC web services - Expertise in containers and container orchestration technologies - Expertise in cloud services and infrastructure provisioning - Expertise in Linux operating systems fundamentals and operations - Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Experience in configuring and securing databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, etc - Experience in observability technologies to provide application and infrastructure monitoring - Experience in basic networking and security concepts such as DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS as well as practical - knowledge such as reverse proxy, load balancer, and firewall configurations
