1- Prepare all types of surfaces for preservation2- Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch and paint surfaces and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as enamel, latex, and epoxy3- Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc.4- Safely stores and labels all materials.5- Maintain control of blasting hose at all times6- Adjust controls on equipment to regulate pressure and amount of media7- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards8- Grind, sand and prepare surface for painters9- Operate a lift and work at heights10- Must wear the respirator and other PPE11- Use various tools, both hand and pneumatic, to remove rust12- Apply masking materials to protect areas from the abrasive finish13- Remove old paint and debris from all types of substrates by; scraping, chipping and sanding14- Operate 3,000 to 5,000PSI Pressure Washers and wash surfaces to remove grease, rust, scale, and dirt15 Operate 40,000PSI Ultra-High Pressure Water Jetting equipment16- Mix solvents and coatings accurately to formula17- Apply coatings in accordance with specifications and good marine practice18- Capable of brush and roll painting for passing all inspection processes19- Be familiar with and exercise proper procedures for; painting in confined spaces20- Control costs in assigned area of responsibility21- Complete tasks with limited supervision22- Other duties may be assigned as workload requirements dictate23- Must have regular, reliable attendance
